The very short sentence: Ralph’s power was gone, Piggy was dead, Jack’s sanity had gone

The power sentence: Piggy’s death meant the end of intelligence on the island, Ralph would uphold society at any cost, Jack would stop at nothing to kill the last threat to his power.

The red, white and blue sentence: All piggy wanted from the boys was intelligence, realism and motivation, Jack symbolized power, blood lust and savagery, the boys lost their innocence, kindness and sanity.

The adverb start: Interestingly, The boys flock to savagery. Stupidly, Jack and his pack let the fire go out. Understandably, Piggy can’t see when his glasses are stolen

Preposition beginning: Before Jack took control, the boys were almost getting along. At the beach, Simon’s broken body lay bleeding into the sand. Against Piggy’s will, Jack snatched the glasses.

explore the subject: Jack, who begins as a seemingly innocent boy, becomes the dictatorial leader of the savages
